One of Chew Magna’s most-loved traditions, the Annual Duck Race is a lively community event enjoyed by all ages.

Each year, over 600 ducks take to the water in a colourful race to the finish, cheered on by crowds lining the banks. Alongside the main race, there’s a Decorate-a-Duck competition, where creativity is encouraged — and yes, those ducks race too.

Local businesses can also get involved in the Business Duck Race, adding a bit of friendly rivalry to the day.
