About The Chew Magna Society

The Chew Magna Society brings our community together to celebrate the distinctive character, history, and culture of our village. We organise a varied programme of events throughout the year, designed to spark curiosity, connection, and pride in the place we call home.

Our aim is to make Chew Magna’s heritage accessible, relevant, and enjoyable for everyone — whether you’ve lived here all your life or are discovering the village for the first time. Alongside our events, we support local businesses and groups and play an active role in caring for and enhancing the village.
